Project Overview

Sequoia Grove Charter Alliance supports a network of independent study schools across California. Their three member schools — Clarksville Charter, Feather River Charter, and Lake View Charter — serve a diverse student population with personalized learning pathways. Each school needed a website refresh to better reflect its unique identity, improve user experience, and make essential information easier for families and prospective students to find.

My Role

As Website Manager, I led the complete redesign of all three school websites using the Finalsite platform. I streamlined navigation, created user-friendly layouts, modernized the visual design, and ensured each site reflected the character of its respective school. Working closely with school staff and administrators, I also developed new content and visuals to improve clarity and engagement.

The Impact

The redesigned websites dramatically improved usability for families, teachers, and administrators. Each site now features intuitive navigation, mobile-friendly design, and clear calls-to-action — leading to increased enrollment inquiries and greater satisfaction among current families. The updated look also strengthened each school’s visual identity, creating consistency across the Sequoia Grove network while honoring individual school cultures. Using Finalsite allowed for long-term scalability and easier updates, empowering schools to maintain their sites in-house without sacrificing design integrity.
