World No Tobacco Day 2024: Children’s Rights Report
Project Overview
In recognition of World No Tobacco Day 2024, Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) released a groundbreaking report highlighting how tobacco companies violate the human rights of children, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The report called for global action to hold the industry accountable and protect future generations.
My Role
I was responsible for the design and visual communication of the report, crafting a cohesive visual language that would resonate across global advocacy networks. I also created a suite of social media graphics to amplify the message and drive visibility.
Key Deliverables
Full report layout and graphic design
Cover design reflecting the theme of children's rights
Social media graphics optimized for sharing and engagement
Visual alignment across digital and print materials
The Impact
The campaign gained international traction, helping ASH and its partners spotlight the systemic exploitation of children by the tobacco industry. The visual materials made complex issues more accessible, enabling advocates to share the report widely with policymakers and the public.
Why It Matters
Children deserve to grow up free from industry-driven harm. This project helped position tobacco control as a child rights issue, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability and protection at a global scale.
